Its the 8th of December 2000 today. This page has been up for a long time and its time to take it down as I need the space for other things. Also I saw today a video by some crappy Berlin wannabe mc's, Music Instructor. It was called Superfly and it was the crappest piece of crap I've seen for a long time, gratuituously ripping off the It's Like That video, the video and song that the breakdancing resurgence can be attributed to. Instead of massively fit cool breakdancers going freaky using only their technical skills, a bunch of Berlin e-boys start prancing around with unbelievable Matrix or Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon moves that have obviously been thought up in a computer studio. I love those films but BLOODY HELL breakdancing is about being able to pull off the moves yourself, about toning your body and mind to pull off routines that nobody else could, not about having a computer do it for you. Also the video contained a 5 person dance routine that was stolen from the Backstreet Boys or some other crappy 5 member male band. AND it contained kung-fu fighting. Now I've never seen a breakdancer start kung-fu fighting on the dance floor. They've managed to rip off It's Like That and It's Tricky at the same time.
