ABBA made in Poland ! - link to K&K STUDIO SINGERS

ABBA was only one time in Poland. It was from 7th to 8th October, 1976. Agnetha, Frida, Bjorn and Benny were a special guests on TV program "ABBA in studio 2". They sang six songs (including "Money, Money, Money" and "Fernando") from coming "Arrival" album. Recording occupied only just five hours (playback!).

The group accompanied Stig Anderson and Agnetha's Father. ABBA did not get any moneys. Only rights to sale of programme to capitalistic countries. Polish Televison could sell programme in socialist countries.

ABBA was treated in Poland as exceptionally important guests. Such groups did not come to Poland. Then was an exception. Group took also participation in not very successful press conference. Toured Old City in Warsaw. Frida and Benny were on supper in restaurant" Shanghai". Earlier, from highest storeys Palace Of Culture, group admired panorama of Poland's capital.
